These are bright and great solar lights. Took oit to my mothers resting spot she loved solar lights in her yard. She didnt grow grass this year so i did all this solar lights. I orderd purple and white as well for Halloween and plan to order all colors for her. These are worth the money..Worked great the year we bought them (2021) for a full Halloween and Thanksgiving season. This season, dead even after careful dry storage.Not worth the money if they only last one year.Nice light been on for a few days now still workingWas not sure how solar lights would fair when you don't get a lot of sun during the winter months, plus it gets dark so early. I was pleasantly surprised as these worked great. The only disappointment was that I wish they were brighter. We live in the country and when you turn the corner a 1/2 mile away you can see our house lights but not the trees. You can see them when you get closer but by then you are driving past. I do love the look from the house so I get to enjoy them. Most of the time, even on some cloudy days, these lights last ALL night long!! Very pleased and do suggest you purchase them!!We got two, one still works! The other stopped working within the first week of putting it up, but the one still going is quite long and super pretty!These are great, look good not super bright but they work well for the tree I have in my front yard. Would want brighter for lighting a function space.I draped these on a tree in the first week of December, 2020. I figured they'd last until a couple weeks after New Years. Today, January 22, 2022, they're still working. Temperatures here can get into the 90s F, and well below freezing. Rain, snow, sleet hasn't stopped these lights. I'm amazed! I bought another set from another company that looked identical, but they lasted two months. Either I was just lucky, or it really depends on the merchant you're buying from.Had to use it on bottom of tree. Not long enough. Could be a little brighter for out side use on treese.The picture of the lights when lit made them seem bigger than they really were. However that was not a big issue once we saw them lit. The lights are suitably bright - without being overly so - and light up the seating area with nice ghostly blue light - not too bright to annoy the neighbours.The length of the string is the reason I bought this as it allowed a good coverage of the seating area, even allowing it to go back over its path at a lower level - thereby giving two strings along the wall.Our garden is north facing, so doesn't really get a massive amount of light. Yet even with that, the lights come on brightly when it goes dark and are still lit by the time we go to bed.I love that you can adjust the lighting pattern to a variety of themes - although to be fair we just use the steady pattern. But others may suit you. Perhaps you want a disco in your garden.Would definitely recommend.Edit - a year later it has died. I find that with most solar panel lights that they don't last for longLights arrived just in time for Christmas, a very sunny first day and lights were on from dusk (about 4pm) to Dawn, about 7am.We had to override and switch the lights on at early evening for the first two days as a street light allowed the solar panel to continueto charge, and not switch the lights on. We moved and tilted the solar panel to rectify this. On dull days the lights have been lit up past midnight. These lights are so much better than having to trail an extension to where you want the lights and keeping it dry in wet weather. Nice to not have to turn them on/off, just leaving them to their own devices. The lights look good.Bought these lights for a garden arbour two months ago. After wrapping them around the arch we found that they did not work. The instructions state that they must be off for them to charge but the off button is the same as the on button so it was trial and error to get them charged. However, after a week still no lights so I removed the cover to check for any loose connections. Everything inside looked very well made so I changed the battery for one that I knew was fully charged. This did the trick and the lights stay on now for several hours (even following a dismal day) Can recommend them but persevere if, at first, they do not work.Got these for Christmas last year to use outside and brighten up the back of my garden. The lights went a lot further than I had expected so managed to decorate a lot more. The colours are vibrant and its easy to set up and use. I only wish the English sun was a bit more powerful to charge them up for longer in the day!Made the unfortunate error of not opening until yesterday. The sola bit fell off. Can’t return as it’s passed the date! They are very cheap in a nasty plain box! Don’t hother
