I have ordered these lights many times before and was really happy with them. Many are going on 3 years use. When I reordered more this time for another location I was sent bases that measure 5.5 inches. I know my other bases of my current lights measure 4 x 4 inches and fit a 4x4 deck post perfectly. The 5.5 x 5.5 do not fit the 4x4 posts. I'm returning and will try to reorder in hopes of getting the appropriate base size. Not sure if others have experienced this. Gave 4 stars for the actual light one off for the base size.Update: I did reach out to the seller and they said they have modified the base from previous years to accomodate a variety of post sizes. Unfortunately unless you want a large base on top of the 4x4 post it most likely won't work. Additionally the screws sent with it won't be long enough to put the larger base on the smaller post. I kept them as I have bases from a previous purchase and the tops from these will fit my smaller bases if I need replacements.
