The string light use 3 AA battery powered, it's optimized than last generation which can last 7 days with new battery base on our testing, actual performance maybe slightly different according to the battery actual capacity you use. Note: The wire was sealed, it's waterproof, but the battery case is not, only rainproof, it's better to keep the battery case away from the water, humid places.
