Looks great on walkway the colors make it even better. As of right now had them a couple of weeks had no problemsGreat product, great service 5*sThey are a little expensive, but I feel like they are a decent buy because of the sturdiness of the design.I removed a few bricks from our patio and replaced with these. Awesome! They work very well, and we used the remote only once to set our preferred mode. However, they aren't perfectly flush, and water collects on top. I worry about tripping as well. For this reason, I removed one star and suggest putting them away from foot traffic.I ordered these as a gift for my mom who is obsessed with her landscaping (and illuminating it) and who had seen something similar in a magazine. She thinks they're great (which is basicallly enough for you to stop reading this review and add to cart because do moms ever think things are great?)Anyway, they seem to be fairly sturdy and build to withstand the elements. I do worry about someone actually stomping them. But, I think that the way the light is set slightly deeper into the plastic casing would prevent damage to the light from someone stepping on them (i.e they would most likely put most of their weight on the raised edges of the plastic casing, if that make sense).But that leads me to another thing. The raised edges of the casing is both a positive and a negative. Positive because it can protect the light but negative because dirt won't readily blow off it. So, I can imagine that dirt and grime will build up on it and prevent the solar panel from collecting the sun's rays (as was mentioned in another review) and make for another cleaning chore.And my final comment is, though these little lights are neat, it's only 2 in a pack and they're pretty dang expensive (in my opinion). So, if you need multiple of them, they will be a significant investment.These seem built tough housed inside of a sturdy thick plastic casing and textured glass. I planted mine in the garden flush with the soil. However, according to the description, these can withstand light vehicular traffic when installed flush with the pavement. I can’t confirm this as my driveway isn’t configured for this type of install but can say light foot traffic is fine as long as the light is flush with the surface around it.The light modes the brick supports are your topical LED strip modes of quick flashing light changes and slow transitional shifts. I find “smooth” to be one of the best choices as it looks nice and doesn’t get boring. A few of the static color options are a bit off, at least in terms of what's on the remote and what you see.If they get a good charge during the day, these make it throughout the entire night. But since I opted to put them in the garden, I’ve sometimes found them covered in dirt (either completely or partially) and they don’t make it through the night.Overall, this is a great product, just a tad bit expensive. They’re built well and give you lots of color options.I ordered these to put along side the pathway to our hot tub, so we are able to see heading out in the dark. These solar pathway lights are awesome! They come with a remote that has multiple settings and multiple colors. They are really easy to use - just pull them out of the box, put where you want them in your yard (in direct sunlight), and that's it... let the sun charge them up, sit back and enjoy the lights at night.I am going to order more of these (a little at a time) to line my entire patio - they are that awesome!So, I installed these in the backyard where my chicken coop path is to provide some light back there at night. First, I want to tell you that I timed these lights on how long they stay lit. I used my backyard camera to do it. On a full charge, by full charge a lot of sun and no cloudy days you will have the lights lit for 10.5 hours BEFORE they start to dim. By the time they die, it's about 13.5 hours which is longer than they advertise. That makes this product better than what is advertised. You don't have to use the white color. You have color choices! The light set has the ability to remember the last color preset too. I'll upload a picture to this tonight. But, happy with the product!
