These look so nice outside drapped along our pool fence. However in the month that we've had them we had to go through all the replacement bulbs. Wondering if any others go out or break how to get some replacements, hopefully cheap? Very disappointed that the bulbs aren't lasting are flimsy.I think this is a high-quality string with terrible bulbs.Within 2 hours of setting up indoors, 9/50 bulbs were burnt out. I noticed a pattern that other reviewers have noted where a bulb will burn “white” in color for a few minutes before it “fizzles out” entirely. Upon inspection of the burnt out bulbs, the filaments are indeed busted. I don’t think it’s an issue with the string. It is possible that the power of the string is too high for the bulb’s wattage rating although I think all the bulbs would burn out at roughly the same time if this were the case.After comparing notes with similar string lights and with replacement bulb listings, my conclusion is that the general quality of bulbs of this size and shape available on Amazon is pretty low. I would be willing to believe the manufacturer skimped on the bulbs to keep costs down. That said, it seems like many other manufacturers are doing the same thing and that replacement incandescent bulbs have similar astonishing rates of failure and breakage. It might just be inherent issues with incandescent glass bulbs of this particular size.The string itself is made of high quality plastic. The clips are sturdy and I have no doubt it would survive well outdoors. Not the bulbs, though.I may be wrong, but I expect to enjoy use of this string for many years. I’m hoping I’m just experiencing issues with low-quality bulbs and I’m going to try replacing them with plastic LEDs of the same size and shape, as the plastic LEDs seem to have a much better track record going by the reviews. I will update my rating if the replacements can’t save it.I have used these a handful of times and the bulbs keep going out. They look nice but I have to keep replacing the bulbs.I love these lights! I did have to send back the first set because there was an issue with the wiring so some of the bulbs were shorting out, but they replaced them quickly and the new set was perfect! They are very heavy so they will need some serious support. We used a staple gun to secure the wire in place at each point. They brighten up the yard but it’s not obnoxiously bright. They are the warm “white” lights and it creates a warm hue. They make me want to hang out in my ugly backyard!Good product for the price. I would recommend these lights to anyone who wants to brighten up a space, inside or outside.These lights are great and super affordable! I ordered them along with a hanging kit by BLIKA. I’ve given myself several pats on the back for an awesome job haha! Looks super professional. It does take time if you’re ordering a hanging kit which I definitely suggest. The lines are nice and taught. I methodically zip tied each bulb section to the guide wire and it is simply gorgeous. Doesn’t look sloppy. I also like how they’re not the big hangy bulbs so they’re much lighter. For the money this product is a must buy. If I ever move I’ll buy it again. Love it!Nice and bright and great length. But.. the bulbs are glass and break easily so I had to be very careful while putting them up. Also… they get pretty hot so wouldn’t recommend for indoors.They are very pretty up. Already blew a fuse when it fell down and shattered a few bulbs. I will need to replace with LED plastic bulbs. Overall great for the price just make sure you are able to make them secure.
