I was looking for a water feature that would provide a soothing sound and pleasantness without breaking the bank. I read the reviews, many complained of leaking, water over consumption etc. I was hesitant to purchase this. But it had such an aesthetically pleasing design and the price was reasonable that I had to try it. Very glad I did.This unit is fiberglass so it’s important to handle it with care as well as be careful what you sit it on.It takes 6.5 gallons of distilled water (recommended) but I also recommend that you start with a pet friendly algaecide because even with distilled water it will quickly start growing slime especially if the water fountain is outside. I also added a bag filter around the pump to keep out larger debris (like bugs) hoping that it will preserve the life of the pump.The sound of the water is very soothing. The adjustment on the pump doesn’t make notable difference. I only run the fountain when I am there to enjoy it. No sense wasting power and water when no one is there.The lights produce a pleasant glow when it gets dark enough outside.So my overall experience with this product is fabulous. I, being a small person was able to unpack and assemble it by myself (with the help of a wagon). I’ve not had to contact the company but I do plan to purchase another one of different styling to make it even more realistic and appealing.
