Cancel my returnOnce I figured out. It was great I am keepingThe lights are very nice. Purchased them to run down and light up my stairway. I do not understand how to use the timer on the remote. No instructions were enclosed. Lights keep shutting off on all settings. I have to keep on setting them numerous times until they finally stay on.I bought these lights to replace Christmas lights hanging above my couch. The length as perfect as they hang perfectly over the corner. Are use one of those master switches where I plug all of my lights into boxes that have a remote, a problem with these lights out to turn it on. I turn on the master switch and then I have to use the light remote to turn them on. The light remote kind of sucks because you have to get kind of close to the wire to turn them On. Also these lights offer so many blinking features that are so unnecessary when all I want is for them to just turn on and once I have them on the right setting after 5 to 20 minutes start blinking and I have to change the setting again. So the color is not a very warm white anything there’s a little bit of cyan in the color so I’m not really a fan.I didn't receive any instructions so unclear how to use the Timer feature but otherwise, the lights are working well and everything is as expectedLove these little lights. The little globes diffuse the light nicely and the color temperature is warm and homey. I dont use any of the motion settings but it has plenty to choose from.I wanted some lights to put up in my bedroom both for when I want a little glow and to help with some anxiety things. These are exactly what I needed. I wanted lights soft enough that they wouldn't keep me awake, and these are just that. They give off a nice soft light that you can dim even more. I also love the timer feature. When active, it automatically turns the lights on at the same time every night. They stay on for six hours and then off for 18. As a bonus, it's a nice signal to me that it's time to go to bed.The strand is short, but since I'm putting them on the wall around my headboard, that works well for me. I wouldn't want a lot of excess to have to deal with.Some of the settings are nicer than others for me. The two options that basically create a slow on and off glow are very cool. I wish there was a little more variation in the flashing speeds but I'm not really planning on ever having them flash so that doesn't matter that much to me. They do seem to only go fast though if you care about the flashing features.The battery pack is easy to open and load. It also has an attached plastic loop so that you can hang it on a nail or small hook. It's compact enough that hiding it behind a canvas or thick frame wouldn't be impossible if you wanted to.The remote is easy to operate. However, the different settings for the lights are printed on the battery pack. I think they'd probably be more useful printed on the remote or even a separate sheet of paper, but there aren't a million combinations so it's easy enough to remember your favorites. Or to hit the buttons until you find the one you want.With all that said, these lights probably won't fit everyone's needs. If you're looking for that bright LED glow that you get with the newer Christmas string lights, these definitely aren't it. If you're looking to use these as the primary source of light for an outdoor dinner party, these probably won't work for that either.However, if all you need is some soft mood lighting and a little bit of a happy glow, these are excellent.I love the lights and the remote control is great, only thing is that i would prefer to have he plug to not to spend money in batteries, but its fine.Brought as a birthday gift for my little sitter. She loves the remote as it means she doesn't have to get out of bed to turn them of or on or change the setting on them. Bright and pretty and a great price (I paid £9) in the sale . The only thing I would say is that they do tend to get a little hot so I am told so that's someone to keeep in mind when putting them up. But very pretty set of lights!I like the fact that there are so many different settings, as well as a dimming option. It does tend to consume batteries quite fast, but not at a ridiculous level, I would just recommend turning them off if you leave the room for a while to save battery. I love the fact it has a controller and I can put them on the other side of the room, and turn them off without getting into bed at the end of the night!I'm amazed by the quality of these lights! They look fantastic, and having the remote is such a bonus. The different light cycles are lovely, and being able to adjust the brightness of the lights is ideal. Be aware: you'll need 3 AA batteries for the battery pack, but the remote already has the required battery inside.great product, really good value for money. The little remote that is provided allows you to select different settings. Great for hanging around the house. Only thing i would say is that one of the little bulbs fell off as soon as i took it out of the packaging but nothing superglue can't fix.Came out of the package easily and working. These have added a nice little flourish above my bed, might even consider purchasing another one. The remote is handy!
